Overview
mxube reader, operated by UZStudio, is a local-first reader for ebooks and documents, including plain text, HTML, PDF, EPUB, MOBI/AZW, AZW3, and DOCX files.
The core reading experience does not require an account. Your imported books and reading data remain on your device unless you choose an export, share, remote-library action or online dictionary lookup as described below.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app may store the files you import, document metadata, derived reading caches, reading locations and history, bookmarks, highlights, notes, vocabulary entries, display settings, and text-to-speech preferences.
Remote-library usernames, passwords, or bearer tokens are stored in the device's secure storage when you configure an authenticated remote library. UZ Studio does not receive those credentials.
How Information Is Used
Local information is used to open and format your books, restore your position, render formulas and tables, provide navigation and save annotations. System narration is not enabled in the current Android release.
Optional Network and Sharing Features
If you configure a remote OPDS or file-transfer library, the app sends the request to the endpoint you selected. That endpoint's operator handles the request under its own privacy policy.
When you explicitly request an online dictionary lookup, the selected query text is sent over HTTPS to the Wiktionary language site chosen by the app from the lookup language. This is a Wikimedia service, not a UZStudio server. Wikimedia receives the query and network information such as your IP address under the Wikimedia privacy policy. The app caches definitions locally for reuse for up to 30 days. Avoid the online lookup action if you do not want to send that text; the Analytics and Crashlytics switches do not control this separate, user-requested lookup.
If you export or share a book, note, settings file, or selected text, the operating system and the third-party app you choose handle the shared content. UZ Studio does not operate a server that receives your library or reading notes.
Optional Analytics and Crash Diagnostics
On Android, Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics are optional and off by default. At first use you can select each purpose separately or choose “Use without sharing”. Declining does not restrict local reading. Firebase is not initialized until a current permission is saved.
Analytics helps us understand app use. It processes app sessions and interactions, app version, device/OS information, an app-instance identifier and approximate location derived from your IP address. Crashlytics helps us investigate failures using error types, code stack traces, app/device state, crash-installation and Firebase installation identifiers. Network requests reveal an IP address to the provider. Data may be processed outside your country.
We do not add book text, titles, notes, file paths, passwords or account details to telemetry. There are no advertising identifiers or personalized-ad purposes in this integration. The app does not sell personal information. See Firebase privacy and security and Google's privacy policy.
Change either choice at any time in Settings → Privacy & diagnostics. Withdrawal stops new application reports; it cannot recall reports already submitted or in transit. After initialization, Crashlytics can record crashes locally while uploading is disabled. Pending reports are discarded on withdrawal and before a fresh diagnostics grant. Reports collected offline with permission may be sent later while permission remains active.
Firebase states that Crashlytics keeps crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. Analytics retention is governed by the project's Analytics settings and Google's terms. Contact us with a data access or deletion request; changing a switch does not delete data previously received by Google.
Permissions
The app uses the Android document picker and shared-file intents to let you choose or receive documents. It stores imported copies and derived caches in private app storage. It does not require broad access to all files on your device.
A local-notification library is included, but the current release does not activate push messaging or request notification permission during startup. It does not use a cloud OCR service or require a UZStudio login or in-app purchase.
Deleting Your Data
You can remove books, annotations, vocabulary, settings, remote profiles, and saved credentials using the controls provided in the app. Uninstalling removes private local data and cache. Android app backup is disabled. Privacy choices are separate from reading settings and are not included in exported settings; a new installation or revised disclosure requires a new choice.

本应用以本地阅读为主，无需注册账号。导入的书籍、元数据、阅读缓存、进度与历史、书签、批注、笔记、生词、显示和朗读设置保存在设备上，用于排版、阅读、导航和恢复阅读状态。远程书库的认证信息在配置后保存在设备安全存储中，UZStudio 不接收这些凭据。
当你主动使用远程书库、文件传输或分享功能时，请求或内容会发送到你选择的服务或第三方应用，由其运营方按自己的政策处理。目录授权、文件选择和局域网权限在使用相应功能时单独请求。
主动使用在线查词时，应用会根据查询语言选择 Wiktionary 语言站点，并通过 HTTPS 发送你选择查询的文字。该服务由 Wikimedia 提供，不是 UZStudio 的服务器。Wikimedia 会按其隐私政策处理查询和 IP 地址等网络信息。释义在本机缓存，最多复用 30 天；不希望发送所选文字时，请不要使用在线查词。统计和故障诊断开关不控制这项单独、由你发起的查询。
当前 Android 发布版未开启系统朗读。包内含本地通知库，但未启用云推送，也不在启动时请求通知权限；不使用云端 OCR，不要求 UZStudio 登录或应用内购买。
可选统计与故障诊断
Android 版本集成 Google Firebase Analytics 和 Crashlytics，两个用途默认关闭。首次使用可独立选择，或选择“仅本地使用”；拒绝不影响本地阅读。只有保存了当前版本的授权后才初始化 Firebase。
使用统计用于了解应用使用情况，处理应用会话、交互、应用版本、设备与操作系统信息、应用实例标识，以及由 IP 地址推断的大致位置。故障诊断用于排查错误，处理错误类型、代码堆栈、应用与设备状态、崩溃安装标识及 Firebase 安装标识。网络请求会向服务方暴露 IP 地址，数据可能在境外处理。我们不向报告添加书籍正文、书名、笔记、文件路径、密码或账号信息；本次接入不使用广告标识或个性化广告用途，不出售个人信息。
你可随时在“设置 → 隐私与诊断”关闭任一用途。撤回会停止新的应用报告，但不能撤回已经提交或正在传输的数据。Firebase 初始化后，Crashlytics 可能在禁止上传时仍在本地记录崩溃；撤回及重新授权诊断前会丢弃待发送报告。经授权收集的离线报告可在仍有授权时恢复发送。
根据 Firebase 隐私与安全说明，Crashlytics 对崩溃堆栈及关联标识保留 90 天后开始从在线与备份系统移除；Analytics 的保留时间由项目设置及 Google 条款管理。关闭开关不等于删除 Google 已接收的数据，可通过下方邮箱提出访问或删除请求。另请参阅 Google 隐私政策。
本地数据与联系
你可在应用中管理或删除书籍、笔记、生词、设置、远程配置和凭据。卸载会移除应用私有数据与缓存，Android 应用备份已关闭。隐私选择不随阅读设置导入导出，新安装或政策修订后需重新选择；隐私政策变更以本页日期为准。
